This week I had the privilege of meeting with Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson, who I’ll be voting to confirm to the U.S. Supreme Court in the coming weeks.
Judge Jackson’s background and experience will make our highest court better reflect America – and that will benefit us all. Our diversity is our strength. Her nomination is not just historic, but inspiring.

Judge Jackson spent her entire career focused on public service. Having worked in the trenches of our justice system as a trial judge and a public defender, she understands how it affects real people.
She has a brilliant legal mind and will add a much-needed voice and perspective to the other justices. I cannot wait to help put her on our nation’s highest court.
